William Quinnell

William was born 1867, in Chatham Kent.

The 1881 census records that he was living at 1 Denmark Street Aldershot with his parents George (a painter) and Martha; and the 1901 census records that the family was a living in Oak Cottage in Ash. The 1911 census records that he was a house painter living at 2 Recreation Villas, Tongham, with his brother and his family.

Williamís service record shows that he was still living at 2 recreation Villas when he enlisted in Guildford 7 August 1918 aged 50 year and 8 months.

His sister was Mrs Hills of Canal Cottages, Ash.
