Private 14534802 7th Battalion Hampshire Regiment Died 22 July 1944 aged 19 Remembered on Ash War Memorial Buried in St Manvieu War Cemetery Cheux France Walter was the son of George and Ada Mary Puttick of Ash. The electoral registers record that George and Ada lived at 31 Grange Cottages in College Road in 1939 and 1945. In 1947 Mr G Puttick lived at 31 Grange Cottages in College Road when he wrote to Ash Parish Council. (Their house is now 64 Winchester Road.)
