Dennis Paige and Leslie Coles

Dennis was the son of Alfred and Ethel Kate Paige.

Ethel Paige remarried in 1925, and her new husband was George Coles.

Dennis's younger half brother Leslie Coles was killed in 1943. Dennis and Leslie were admitted to Heathcote School on 26 September 1932 and had previously attended a school in Hale. Dennisís date of birth was 2 Nov 1918.

Leslie was the son of George A and Ethel Kate Coles of Ash Vale.

Leslie's older half brother Dennis George Paige had been killed in 1940. Dennis and Leslie were admitted to Heathcote School on 26 September 1932 and had previously attended a school in Hale. Leslieís date of birth was 4 May 1925.

Ethel Kate Coles is recorded as living at 1 Wharf Road in the 1939 electoral register. Mrs Coles worked for Tolley family, cleaning, cooking lunch and looking after baby Richard, whilst Mrs Tolley ran the garage and her husband was away in the Army in North Africa and Italy.
