Walter Edward Murray

Walter was the son of Edward James and Annie Murray of Ash Vale.

Before the war Walter had been a Police Messenger / Clerk working for Hampshire Constabulary.

Electoral registers record that the family lived in Eynsford Lodge in Chandlerís Road in 1927 and at 2 Council Houses in Frimley Road 1928-1939 (now 2 Homeleigh Villas).

Walterís mother wrote to Ash Parish Council in 1951. By then she was Mrs A Fairchild of 3 Woollards Road. (Mrs Murray married Alfred J Fairchild in 1949.)
